The UK's longest established Press Brake Tool manufacturer: Ashmores, are pleased to announce a further addition to their range of press brake tools. A new concept: high tech euro-spec press brake tooling is particularly suited to current hi tech multi-axis CNC machines such as LVD, Trumpf, Ursviken, Edwards Pearson, Safan and Amada. Previously this type of tooling has generally only been available from the machine manufacturer, but now, Ashmores are able to offer short lead times and guaranteed deliveries. |

Automated Manufacturing Cell with Laser Engraved Code System A highly automated manufacturing cell has been set up to guarantee the conformity of the product, together with complete interchageability. All tools are produced from special CrMo tool steel with a tensile strength of 1000 to 1100 N/mm˛. After grinding the tools are then laser hardened to 60 HRC for a depth of 1.5mm, making them highly wear-resistant and maximising tool life. The tools are manufactured in 515mm lengths. All tools are light and completely interchangeable. The tools are marked with a laser engraved code system. This allows Ashmores to store tool information in a database so that if a replacement tool is required in the future, it will be identical. These new hi-tech tools now complement the existing range of standard euro tools from stock, for Promecam type machines, together with a full range of conventional tools for Pearson Bronx machines. |
